  • Transforming Waste into Art

Innovative sculptures that challenge perceptions and inspire change

  • Less waste on land,

    means less in the ocean.

Thats why I have gone upstream.

I now use waste diverted from landfill

My commitment to transforming waste into meaningful art began with a deep concern for our planet. As the founder and former director of Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea, I dedicated over ten years to leading a dedicated team of volunteers and staff in creating impressive sculptures from ocean-derived debris. Our goal was to educate the public about marine pollution and inspire change. After stepping down in 2021, the organization continues its vital work. This journey fueled my passion to intercept waste before it reaches our oceans, using art as a tool to foster community involvement and spark innovative thinking that can lead to solutions and a better planet for us all.
